Coating Process:

  • Surface Preparation: The metal component is thoroughly cleaned to remove oil, grease, rust, and contaminants. After cleaning, grit blasting is performed to create a rough surface that ensures strong adhesion of the coating.
  • Primer Application: A special primer layer is applied to the prepared surface. This primer improves bonding between the metal substrate and the PFA coating.
  • PFA Powder / Spray Application: The PFA fluoropolymer coating is applied using a controlled electrostatic spray process to achieve uniform thickness across the surface.
  • Heat Curing: The coated component is placed in a high-temperature oven where the PFA material melts and fuses to form a smooth, non-porous, and durable protective layer.
  • Cooling and Inspection: After curing, the parts are cooled and carefully inspected to ensure proper coating thickness, smooth finish, and complete surface coverage for long-lasting protection.
